CloseHandle (coredll)
coredll is for smart devices, not desktop Windows. Therefore, this information only applies to code using the .NET Compact Framework. To see if information for CloseHandle in other DLLs exists, click on Find References to the right.
Declare Function CloseHandle Lib "coredll.dll" (hObject As IntPtr) As Boolean
Declare Function CloseHandle Lib "kernel32.dll" (hObject As IntPtr) As Boolean
User-Defined Types:
None.
Notes:
I tested this p/invoke declaration on the Windows Mobile 6.1 emulator with the kernel32.dll DLLImport and a MissingMethodException was thrown - "Can't find PInvoke DLL 'kernel32.dll'." I modified the signature to use coredll.dll and the p/invoke worked. I'm assuming this declaration is always in coredll.dll, but I left the above signature alone just in case this is different on other devices.
