Synopsis

The story background about this movie is about abstinence on a sixty year old male who until now has never engaged in intercourse with anyone female or male. The main character (Ricky) finally finds a special someone whom he falls in love and finally has sex with.

Introduction

The story begins in the subject’s (Ricky or other name) office conference room where he is celebrating his 60th birthday among his department’s staff. Celebrating with him are three of his closest friends and co-workders and manager/supervisor. Ricky is a Sr. Accountant at the company working in the Accounting Department at XYZ Corporation.

Chapter One

After the office birthday party celebration, Ricky is persuaded by his three friends for a night out to “truly” celebrate with him. Since Ricky is a shy introvert type person, he declines at first, but after a few persuasions he accepts their invitation.

The group decided on bar hoping in the big city’s bar corridor. After the second bar one of the friends suggests going to a strip club to close the night. After spending thirty minutes at the club, Ricky excuses himself and leaves the group behind and goes home. His friends, who are already drunk and getting sexually excited by the minute by the glamor and showmanship of the dancers, start wondering about Ricky’s behavior and assume various reasons why he had to leave i.e., perhaps being gay.

Chapter Two

On Monday, the group who usually eats lunch together at a restaurant near work, bring up the conversation of Ricky’s behavior of the night out with him. They start asking Ricky’s questions and find out why he left the party. He finally confesses that he felt uncomfortable because he has never been with a woman before and he did not want to disappoint them should they try to encourage him that night for a free lap dance or something else.

Chapter Three

On one lunch eating occasion, Ricky’s friends starting brainstorming ideas on helping him get laid, if he is interested and want to hear them out. They start sharing their manhood sexual experiences and how wonderful the sexual experience is between a man and woman. After a few more lunch meetings, Ricky becomes interested in exploring the possibility of getting together with a woman and starts asking for their advice. Ideas start flowing his way including a possibility with a prostitute, which he disregards immediately due to the health risks involved. For a primer, they suggest going back to the strip club for initiation and getting rid of first and second base of the relationship. They convince him that on this way, at least he will get the experience of touching and being touched by a woman. Ricky accepts the suggestion and decides to do this, but going alone, not accompanied to avoid peer pressure.

Chapter Four

On Saturday night, Ricky gets all spiffy and decides to go to the XYZ Gentleman’s Club. When he gets there, he sits at the bar area and orders a drink. He notices that at the right end of the bar area several strip dancers are gathered observing the pole dancers and the clientele. After a few minutes, one of the strippers from the group starts walking toward him and stops by his side and asks him if he is enjoying the show so far. He tells her that is too soon to know that since he just got there a few minutes earlier. They exchange names and start a general conversation regarding the place and the ambient. He buys her a drink and move to a table to continue their conversation. She asks him where he from and what he does for a living. He answers her questions honestly without lies. Diamond (the stripper’s working name) tell Ricky she is new to the club and the city. Since she unemployed for over a year and could not find work in her field, she took the stripper job to support herself. She commented she had been divorced for several years and was living alone. After a few drinks, she suggests a lap dance in the private room. They go to the private room where she gives him a good dance and pleasures him until he gets pleased and delighted. After they are finished, Diamond gives Ricky her private telephone number if he decides to contact her during off-work hours. Ricky takes her phone number, thanks her for her great service, and goes home.

Final Chapter

One weekend morning, when he feels Diamond is probably not working, he decides to give her a call. Surprisingly, Diamond answers the call and exchange greetings. Ricky is pleased and asks her if she is free to go for breakfast or a cup of coffee. They decide to meet at a downtown coffee shop where they spend time getting more familiar with each other. Ricky tells her he is interested in seeing her again and asks her if she is interested. A date is planned for a day Diamond is not working and they get together. Ricky gets all spiffy and drives to Diamond home to pick her up for their date. On his way there, he is thinking of ways to explain his virginity to Diamond. He decides that the best way to let her know is to be honest and tell her that he is not gay, he is shy, he found other interests to keep him occupied such as reading, listening to music, going to sports events, playing electronic games. After they come back from dinner, Diamond invites him in for refreshment and some conversation. During their conversation, Diamond tell Ricky her real name which is Alberta or Betty. Betty excuses herself to change into something more comfortable. After she comes back she offers him more coffee and sits close to him. Slowly she starts playing with his hair and touches and caresses his hand with her other hand. At this point, Ricky begins telling her about his inhibitions and explains some of the facts that attribute to this. She looks at him and tells him she understands and not to worry. Ricky tells Betty he needs time and to excuse him for the evening. He assures Betty is interested in continuing their relationship and would like to see her again soon. They continue seeing each other for several weeks until finally they consume a sexual encounter. Three months go by and they continue seeing each other. Knowing that Betty lives alone and she needs to work to pay rent where she lives, Ricky proposes she moves in with her, with no attachments meaning that she is free to leave whenever she pleases. Betty accepts his invitation and moves in. Until now they have lived several years together and no marriage plans are discussed.
